Belgian made 16 gauge boxlock game shotgun. The 26” blued Siemens-Martin steel barrels that are fit with extractors, 2-3/4” chambers, tapered machined concave game rib with rib extension and an off white bead front sight and are choked Full and Extra Full. Top of the right barrel is roll marked "VON LENGERKE & DETMOLD" while the top of the left barrel is roll marked "U.S. AGENTS, NEW-YORK". Barrel flats have original Belgian proof marks and Birmingham Nitro Proof marks from 2010. Patina case color hardened finish boxlock action is adorned with partial covereage English Arabesque scroll engraving with "A. FRANCOTTE MAKER & PATENTEE" Over "LIEGE BELGIUM" on both sides of the action body and oak leaves on the fences. The action body is fit with double triggers protected by an engraved blued trigger guard which extends to an engraved blued bottom strap, both sides of the thumb piece of the blacked engraved top lever are checkered, "S" in Gold is engraved ahead of the automatic scored and engraved safety slide with viewing window. Best quality walnut stock with round knob grip. Splinter fore-end with Anson style push button release, 14-1/4" LOP to a scored butt, 5 Lbs. - 11 Oz.
