Spanish made sidelock ejector 410-gauge game gun with 27" blued round nitro proved chopper-lump barrels that are fit with ejectors, a tapered smooth concave game rib and a brass bead front sight. Proved for 3" cartridges and choked Modified & Full. The rib is engraved: "ESPECIALLY MADE FOR J.ROBERTS AND SON KING ST LONDON" while the right barrel is engraved: "PEDRO ARRIZABALAGA" and the left barrel is engraved "EIBAR SPAIN". Barrel flats are stamped with Spanish nitro proofs. The Barrels are fitted with Holland & Holland type assisted opening mechanism. The coin finished action body and lockplates are adorned with Purdey style Rose Bouquets and Fine English Arabesque scroll engraving similar to the later 'English Scroll' model. "P - ARRIZABALAGA" is engraved on both lockplates. while the bottom of the action body is engraved "PEDRO ARRIZABALAGA EIBAR". The sidelock action features disc-set strikers, gas vents, gold-lined cocking indicators, a blued engraved top lever with both sides of the thumbpiece checkered and an automatic safety with gold-inlaid "SAFE" ahead of the blued, checkered and engraved safety slide. The double triggers (front articulated) are protected by a blued, engraved and right edge rolled trigger guard ending in a long bottom strap with serial number. Nicely figured best quality European walnut stock with straight hand grip, drop points, engraved stock oval - "O.M.P." in shaded block, and splinter fore-end with Anson type push button release with an engraved escutcheon and diamond. 14-5/8" LOP to a checkered butt, 5 Lbs. - 8 Oz. Gun resides in a J. Roberts & Son single canvas motor case with canvas cover.
