A Belgian made 12 gauge sporting gun with 2 sets of 26-1/2" blued steel barrels. Both barrels are built with 2-3/4" chambers, ejectors and ventilted matte ribs with steel front sight beads. The first barrel set chokes are factory marked "* / *" - Full & Modified. The second barrels set chokes are factory marked "**$ / **$" - Skeet. Both barrels sets are roll marked "SPECIAL STEEL - 12GA. - SHELLS 2-3/4"" over "PATENTS No 2203378 - 2233861" on top right barrel. Left side are roll marked "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY ST LOUIS, Mo & MONTREAL P.Q." over "MADE IN BELGIUM". Scroll engraving on the blued finish boxlock action body - bottom of the action body with "Lightning" in script, "BROWNING" and a portrait of John Moses Browning. The action is fit with a gold washed single selective inertia trigger and a non-automatic safety. The reddish-brown best quality walnut pistol grip stock has point pattern checkering and a short trigger guard tang. Game style fore-ends are fit with matching blued engraved iron metal, 14-1/4" LOP to a 1" Browning ventilated rubber recoil pad, Cast Off 1/8" at face, 7 Lbs - 7 Oz. with barrel set number 1 and 7 Lbs - 6 Oz with barrel set number 2. Gun comes with traditional Browning naugahyde vinyl travel case.
