American made 28 gauge boxlock ejector game shotgun. The 30” blued steel barrels with engraved barrel panels have 2-3/4" chambers, a tapered smooth concave game rib with a brass bead front sight and are choked Modified & Improved Modified. The right barrel is roll marked "CONNECTICUT SHOTGUN MFG. NEW BRITAIN CT. USA" The left barrel is roll marked "RBL–28 ga. 2 3/4" ". The case color hardened action is adorned with game scene engraving with a pointer on the right side, setter on the left side and grouse on the bottom with supporting ornamental scrolls. The bottom of the action body also is engraved "RBL–28". The gun features an automatic safety with "SAFE" engraved on the top strap ahead of the checkered safety slide, blued and engraved top lever with the left side of the thumbpiece checkered, gold washed single selective trigger with barrel selector button incorporated into the trigger blade protected by an engraved double roll edge blued trigger guard to a blued long bottom strap extending to the blued and border engraved steel grip cap. Deluxe quality Turkish walnut with pistol grip and grip cap, 13-7/8" LOP to a 3/4" KICKEZZ rubber recoil pad, beavertail forend with Anson style push button release, 5 Lbs. - 15 Oz.
