Scottish made 12-gauge game shotgun with 30” nitro proved round steel barrels that are fitted with ejectors, 2-3/4” chambers, tapered smooth flat-top rib with extension third fastener and steel front bead. Chokes are Improved Modified and Improved Modified. Top of the right barrel is roll marked "JOHN DICKSON & SON." while the top of the left barrel is roll marked "21 FREDERICK STREET, EDINBURGH." Patina case color finished boxlock action is adorned fine English Arabesque scrolls, "JOHN DICKSON & SON" on both sides of the action body. and a blacked trigger cover plate on the bottom action body. The action body is fit with double triggers with smooth left-handed blades that are protected by a blacked and engraved trigger guard which extends to a long bottom strap that is scroll engraved with the gun's serial number, top lever is blacked, engraved and the left side of the thumb piece is checkered, gold-inlaid "SAFE" ahead of the checkered and engraved automatic slide safety. Best quality walnut stock with straight hand grip that is has point pattern checkering with borders and drop points. engraved stock oval - 'J.G.M' in script, Splinter fore-end with matching checkering and Anson type push button release with engraved escutcheon and center diamond. 15-1/2" LOP to a 3/4" leather covered pad, 7 Lbs. - 1 Oz. Gun lives in the maker's single green canvas case.
