Ultra Rare Dickson Round-Action with fluted fences. Dickson only made a handful of Round-Action with fluted fences.

An antique 12 gauge Dickson Patent Ejector Hammerless Round-Action shotgun. It has 29” sleeved blacked steel nitro proofed barrels fit with ejectors, 2-1/2" chambers and a tapered, smooth, concave game rib with rib extension. The rib is marked "JOHN DICKSON & SON. 63 PRINCES STREET EDINBURGH". Barrels are choked Modified and Improved Modified. Full coverage fine English Arabesque scrolls with "JOHN DICKSON & SON PATENT" beneath action flats on both sides of the action body and coin finish. Dickson Patent Round-Action with fluted fences, double triggers, gold washed cocking indicator pins on top strap and automatic safety. Inside gold box "SAFE" ahead of the checkered and engraved safety slide. Thumpiece of the blacked and engraved top lever is checkered on both sides. Deluxe quality walnut stock with traditional English straight hand grip and a vacant gold stock oval, 1-1/2" wooden stock extension, splinter forend with Anson style push button release, 14-7/8" LOP to a checkered butt, Cast Off 1/8” at face, 6 Lbs. 9 Oz. Made incorporating the Dickson patent number 294 of 1880, patent use number 112.
