It has 29” browned damascus steel nitro proofed barrels fit with ejectors, 2-1/2" chambers and a tapered, smooth, concave game rib with rib extension. The rib is marked "JOHN DICKSON & SON 63 PRINCES STREET EDINBURGH" and has a gold inlaid "2" near breech. Barrels are choked Modified and Improved Modified. Full coverage fine English Arabesque scrolls with "JOHN DICKSON & SON PATENT" in banner on both sides of the action body, with the rare dandelion pattern engraved on the fences and coin finish. Top lever has gold inlaid "2" and left side checkered thumbpiece. Dickson Patent Round-Action with double triggers and automatic safety. Gold inlaid "SAFE" ahead of the checkered and engraved safety slide. Deluxe quality walnut stock with traditional English straight hand grip and engraved gold stock oval, Splinter forend with silver appearing "2" in diamond on bottom and Anson style push button release, 15" LOP over a 1” black leather recoil pad, Cast Off 1/8” at face, 6 Lbs. 14 Oz. The shotgun is presented in a canvas case. Made incorporating the Dickson Round-Action patent number "294" of 1880 with patent use number "688" and Dickson ejector patents "9399" and "10621" of 1887.
