The 20 inch round blued steel barrel is chambered for the .30-30 Winchester cartridge, built with an adjustable sporting rear sight and a hooded blade ramp front sight. The left side of the barrel is marked "WINCHESTER/ -TRADE MARK-" / -MADE IN U.S.A.-" and "-MODEL 94-30-30 WIN.- / -WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL-". The bottom of the polished blued frame near the forend has the rifle's serial number "2553747". The smooth walnut stock has a 13-3/8" length of pull to a textured steel butt plate.
