Bolt action rifle chambered for the .275 Rigby cartridge built on the Mauser M98 standard action. Its blacked 22” steel barrel is fit with a traditional Rigby pattern Island base express rear sights - 1 silver lined standing and 2 folding leaves regulated for 65, 150 and 250 yards, island base hooded blade front sight and eye for sling. The action has a 3 position Winchester Model 70 type wing safety with "S" in red, "F" and middle position "." in white on the bolt shroud. Hexalock scope rings and bases are mounted on the drilled and tapped action with a Ziess Conquest 3-9x40 MC scope installed. Subtle case color hardened finished straddle floorplate with 'Double R' Rigby Logo. Top of barrel marked "J. Rigby & Co. London. England" and ahead of the receiver's ring "SIGHTED FOR RIGBY'S SPECIAL HIGH VELOCITY .275 BORE CARTRIDGE SOFT NOSED 140GR BULLET". The grade 5 quality walnut stock has a round pistol grip, point pattern checkering on grip and forearm and eye for sling. 14-3/4 inch length of pull to a 7/8" Silver's style rubber recoil pad. Rifle is fit with Rigby's Highland Stalker Leather Silent Sling with thong ends. Maker's full length ABS travel case

Hailed as a traditional deerstalking rifle, the Highland Stalker is inspired by the same smaller caliber rifles Rigby produced at the turn of the 20th century that were used by iconic British adventurers such as Karamojo Bell and Jim Corbett. Rigby regards the Scottish Highlands as the birthplace of stalking and the title befitting the rifle.
