English made sidelock ejector 12-gauge game gun with 29" blacked round nitro proved barrels that are fit with ejectors, a matt narrow tapered solid Churchill rib and a brass bead front sight. Proved for 2-3/4" cartridges and choked Improved Cylinder & Improved Cylinder. The coin finished action body and lockplates are adorned with rose bouquets and fine English Arabesque scrolls with oak leaves on the fences, 'WILLIAM EVANS' in banner on both lockplates in the action bar. The sidelock action is fitted with a hidden third fastener, disc-set strikers, an engraved top lever with both sides of the thumbpiece and non-automatic safety with "SAFE" ahead of the checkered and engraved slide safety. The double triggers (front articulated) are protected by a blacked an engraved trigger guard ending in a long engraved bottom strap. Best quality walnut stock with straight hand grip and splinter fore-end with Anson type push button release with an engraved escutcheon. 14-3/8" LOP to a 7/8" black rubber recoil pad, 7 Lbs. - 2 Oz.
