Over-Under double rifle with 23-1/2″ Winchester Proof blued round rifle barrels fit with extractors and chambered for the .270 Winchester cartridge. Matte spearpoint quarter rib engraved "Grand European" in script inside an oval and fit with a Lyman folding U-notch adjustable folding leaf rear sight dovetailed to the quarter rib at the rear of the top barrel, the notch has a white triangle aiming reference and is fine-adjustable for elevation and a brass tipped Lyman blade front sight that is dovetailed to a tall spearpoint ramped base fixed to the top barrel at the muzzle. A sling loop is soldered to the bottom barrel. Top of quarter rib towards the breech, between the front scope mount base and rear sight is engraved "Grand European" in script inside an oval. A Leupold VARI-X III 1.5x5 rifle scope is mounted to the barrels by EAW pivot mounts. The satin coin finished boxlock action features a scored and border engraved automatic slide safety that has "S" in front on top of the receiver tang. A single mechanical trigger with trigger shoe installed that is protected by a lightly scroll engraved trigger guard. The satin coin finished action is engraved with game scenes supported by English Arabesque scrolls. The right side of the action body features a portrait of a red stag while the left Side has a running boar. The underside of the action body has "Grand European" in script inside an oval and a portrait of a bighorn ram ahead of the scroll engraved trigger guard. High gloss reddish-brown nicely feather-crotch figured best quality walnut, pistol grip with engraved steel grip cap, point pattern checkering with borders. cheekpiece with Monte-Carlo comb, stud for sling on toe line. Finger-grooved fore-end that is similarly checkered with Deeley style lever release. 13-7/8" LOP over a 1/2" Winchester red rubber recoil pad.
