A custom bolt action rifle chambered for the .458 Winchester Magnum cartridge built on a Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 action with a 3 position side wing safety. The rifle is built with a 24" blued round steel barrel with a muzzle break and stud for sling on underside. The left side barrel reads "MADE IN U.S.A" over "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL" - "WINCHESTER" over "TRADE MARK" - "MODEL-70-.458 WIN MAGNUM-". The left side receiver reads "WINCHESTER" over "TRADE MARK". The left side of the barrel is the rifle's serial number. Leupold 2x7 VARI-X II rifle scope with Burris mounts. The hinged floorplate is scroll engraved with a gold inlay portrait of a trumpeting elephant. The serrated single trigger is protected by a scroll engraved and gold inlaid trigger guard. The receiver and top of the barrel near the receiver are scroll engraved with gold wire inlay. The chromed bolt handle is also scroll engraved with a one pancel checkered bolt knob. Gold Wire Inlay at tip of muzzle break. High gloss deluxe quality walnut stock with cheekpiece, pistol hand grip with rosewood grip cap, carved oak leaf checkering, rosewood forearm tip, maple inlay on underside of forearm, stud for sling on toe line of buttstock and 13-3/4" LOP to a black rubber ventilated recoil pad, 9 Lbs. 8 Oz. with scope/mounts.
