German made 20 gauge round-body game gun. The barrels are 30" with 3" chambers, fit with Interchangeable multi chokes, tapered smooth, slightly raised concave game rib and a brass bead front sight. Top of the ribs is roll marked "KRIEGHOFF Made in Germany" and have engraved barrel panels near the breech. The nickel French grey finished action body and lockplates are adorned with bold foliate scroll engraving and "KRIEGHOFF" in gold inside banners. The bottom of the action body is engraved "Essencia" in gold script. The round-body, back-action sidelock action is fit with a concealed third fastener, disc-set strikers, gold-plated cocking indicators, automatic checkered safety slide and a gold washed single non-selective inertia trigger that is protected by an engraved double sided rolled edge trigger guard. Highly figured deluxe Turkish walnut stock with Prince-Of-Wales grip, Splinter forend with Anson style push button release. 14-7/8" LOP to a checkered butt. 6 Lbs.-7 Oz. The shotgun is presented in the maker's leather trunk case with canvas cover.
