20 gauge Italian made game gun with 29-1/2" blued Excelsior H.S.A. steel barrels fit with ejectors, 3" chambers, machined ventilated top rib with brass bead front sight, solid side ribs and Beretta's interchangeable Mobilchoke tubes. The coin finish sideplated boxlock action is engraved with game scene vignettes with supporting scrolls that the engraver "Nuovo Cesselo" signed on the right side of the trigger plate. While the left side of the trigger plate is marked "Made in Italy" over "Patented". The right sideplate is adorned with a scene of 2 pheasants in flight over a field while the left sideplate is adorned with a scene of 2 quail in flight over a field. The bottom of the action body features a portrait of a dogs head above tall grass. Both sides of the action body have "BERETTA" inside a banner surrounded by scroll borders towards the front-top while the bottom of the action body is reads "Beretta" in script over "687EELL" inside a banner surrounded by scroll borders. Under the top lever the top strap reads "Diamond Pigeon" and also the guns serial number. The boxlock action is fit with a single selective inertia trigger protected by a coin finished scroll engraved trigger guard and automatic safety, the scored slide safety incorporating the barrel selector. Deluxe Turkish walnut stock with pistol hand grip, vacant stock oval and game forend with Deeley style lever release and a 14-3/4" LOP to a Beretta black rubber recoil pad. Weight of gun is 6 Lbs. - 4 Oz. Shotgun resides in a Beretta ABS carry case.
