Belgian made sidelock ejector 12 gauge game gun with 28-7/8" blacked round nitro proved dovetail lump barrels that are fit with ejectors, a tapered machined concave game rib and a brass bead front sight. Proved for 2-3/4" cartridges and choked improved modified & full. The grey finished action body and lockplates are engraved with rose bouquets and fine English Arabesque scrolls and "L. CHRISTOPHE A. BRUXELLS" on bottom of the action body. Gold-inlaid number "2" upon the top lever, rib near breech and fore-end escutcheon tip. Gold-Inlaid "B" with what looks like a "T" in Lighter Shade of Gold on the Trigger Guard. Signed "SCHOFFENIEL" on bottom of the action body in front of the left bottom horn. The action is fit with a concealed third fastener (treble grip), disc-set strikers, gas exhausts, blacked engraved top lever with both sides of the thumbpiece checkered and an automatic safety with gold-inlaid "S" ahead of the checkered and engraved safety slide. The double triggers (front articulated) are protected by a blacked, engraved trigger guard ending in a long bottom strap.
