Italian made sidelock ejector 12 gauge game gun with 28" blued 'Vacuum Arc Remelting" steel round nitro proved chopper-lump barrels that are fit with ejectors, a tapered machined matte flat top rib and a steel bead front sight. Proved for 2-3/4" cartridges and choked skeet & improved cylinder. The right barrel is roll marked: 'VACUUM ARC REMELTED STEEL' while the left barrel is roll marked: 'IVO FABBRI BRESCIA ITALY'. The coin finished action body and lockplates are engraved in bulino hunting game scenes with supporting tight foliate scrolls. The right lockplate has several ducks coming in for a landing over a marshy pond. The left lockplate has a hunter and a pointing dog busting a cover of quail over a desert terrain. Bottom of the action body is engraved with a hunting dog retrieving a hare from a wooded forest. Both the left and right sides of the action body are engraved "IVO FABBRI'. The right lockplate is signed 'inc C Tomasoni' while the left lockplate is signed 'inc Tomasoni'. The action is fit with cocking indicators, engraved top lever with the both sides of the thumbpiece checkered and a non-automatic safety with "SICURA" ahead of the checkered and engraved safety slide. The single inertia trigger is protected by an engraved trigger guard ending in a long bottom strap with the gun's serial number inside an oval. Deluxe quality straight hand grip Turkish walnut stock and a beavertail fore-end with Anson type push button release. 14-1/2" LOP to a 5/8" checkered butt, 7 Lbs. - 5 Oz. Gun resides in a single leather case.
