A German made boxlock double rifle chambered for the .375 H&H Belted Magnum cartridge. It has a 25” blacked Krupp-Special Laufstahl shoe-lump rifled barrels fitted with ejectors, matted quarter rib with extension, express rear sight, 1 standing and 3 folding leaves with the standing being unmarked and the leaves marked "50", "100", "150", ramped tipped blade front sight, claw mount bases and front sling swivel stud. Top of the rib is roll marked “PAUL JAEGER INC. GRAND JUNCTION. TN” inside an oval. The left barrel is roll marked “KRUPP-SPECIAL LAUFSTAHL” and the right barrel is roll marked " MADE IN W. - GERMANY”. The barrels are adorned with gold-banded breeches. The coin finished boxlock action is engraved with partial coverage English Arabesque scrolls with border scrolls. Bottom of action body is marked "FRIEDRICH WILH. HEYM". The bolstered action is fitted with a Greener crossbolt third fastener, intercepting sears, cocking indicator pins on top of the action body, non-automatic safety with "S" engraved ahead of the checkered and border engraved slide safe, smooth blade double triggers with the front being articulated protected by a blacked and engraved trigger guard to long blacked border engraved bottom strap with engraved screws. Select quality oil finished European walnut stock with a beaded cheekpiece, classic point-pattern checkered pistol grip, border engraved blued steel grip cap with engraved screws and a rear sling swivel stud. Semi-Beavertail fore-end with matching checkering, border scroll engraved Deeley style lever release, 14-5/8” LOP over a 7/8" brown Pachmayr Old English rubber recoil pad with black backing spacer, 10 Lbs. - 7.5 Oz.
