Sidelock ejector 12-gauge game gun with 30" blacked round nitro proved barrels that are fit with ejectors, a tapered smooth concave game rib and a steel bead front sight. Proved for 2-1/2" cartridges and choked cylinder & improved cylinder. The right barrel is marked "HOLLAND & HOLLAND" while the left barrel is marked "98 NEW BOND STREET, LONDON". The coin finished action body and lockplates are adorned with Holland's Royal Scroll engraving. Both lockplates are engraved "HOLLAND & HOLLAND" in banner. The bottom of the action body is engraved "ROYAL HAMMERLESS EJECTOR'. The action is fit with a blacked engraved top lever with the left side of the thumbpiece checkered and automatic safety with gold-inlaid "SAFE" ahead of the checkered and engraved safety slide. The double triggers are protected by a blacked engraved trigger guard ending in a long bottom strap with serial number. Best quality walnut stock with straight hand grip, drop points, English flat checkerintg with borders, engraved stock oval ('S.J.L' in shaded block) and splinter fore-end with Anson type push button release. 15-1/8" LOP to a scored ebonite buttplate, 6 Lbs. - 7 Oz. Gun resides in the makers single leather case.
