It has a 24-inch blacked steel barrels fit with ejectors, machined matte quarter rib with doll's head rib extension, express rear sights, one platinum lined standing regulated for 100 yards and two folding leaves regulated for 200 and 300 yards, ramped, hooded, white tipped blade front sight and eye for sling. The right barrel is roll marked "W. J. JEFFERY & CO LTD." while the left barrel is roll marked "26 BURY ST. ST JAMES ." LONDON.". Barrels flats stamped with Birmingham proofs. The patina case color hardened boxlock action with blacked bottom cover plate is engraved with English Arabesque scrolls, "W. J. JEFFERY & CO LTD LONDON" in a banner on both sides of the action body. The action is fitted with a non-automatic safety with gold-inlaid "SAFE" engraved ahead of the checkered slide safe, blacked and engraved top lever with the left side of the thumbpiece checkered, double triggers with smooth blades protected by a blacked and engraved trigger guard that extends to a full-length bottom strap with the serial number. Nicely figured reddish-brown pistol gripped walnut stock with case color hardened and engraved cap box, drop points, fine point pattern checkering with borders, eye for sling on the toe line of buttstock, engraved stock oval "CFM" in shaded block, Splinter fore-end similarly checkered with Anson style button release with scroll engraved escutcheon. 14-11/16” LOP over a 1-1/2" leather covered recoil pad, 11 Lbs. - 12 Oz. Rifle resides in the maker's single leather trunk case.
