The 30” blacked steel barrels that are fit with ejectors, 2-1/2” chambers, tapered smooth concave game rib with extension and a brass bead front sight and are choked Skeet and Full. Top of rib near breech is roll marked "W.R. PAPE, NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE." and "WINNER OF THE LONDON GUN TRIALS 1858, 1859, 1866 &1875". Barrel flats have both original Birmgham and new (1990) London nitro proof marks. The coin finish boxlock action is adorned with traditional rose and scroll engraving with "W. R. PAPE" on both sides of the action body and fluted fences. The screwgrip boxlock action body is fit with rib extension third fastener, double triggers protected by an engraved trigger guard which extends to an engraved long botton strap, the left side thumb piece of the engraved top lever is checkered, gold inlaid "SAFE" ahead of the automatic scored and and engraved safety slide. Best quality walnut stock with straight hand grip, checkered stock panels, drop points and point pattern checkering. Splinter fore-end with matching checkering and Anson type push button release, 15-1/8" LOP to 1" Silver's style rubber recoil pad, 6 Lbs. - 9 Oz.
