Extended Information

A 16-gauge sidelock shotgun with round blued steel 28" barrels with rib extension, 2-1/2" chambers and that are choked Improved Cylinder and Modified. The barrels are fitted with a tapered matte, machined, concave game rib with a brass front bead. The right barrel reads "LC SMITH SPECIALTY GRADE" while the left barrel reads "HUNTER ARMS CO. INC. M'F'R'S FULTON, N.Y., U.S.A. The gun was built upon Hunter's 'Featherweight' smaller gun frame as indicated by the serial number prefix of 'FW' of the 'FWE' total prefix. The 'E' indicates that the gun was shipped with factory installed auto ejectors. The case color hardened finished action body is adorned with scrolls and "LC SMITH" on each lockplate and "S" ahead of serrated safety slide. Action is fitted with an internal crossbolt fastener, automatic safety, and double triggers. The top lever is checkered on the left side of the thumbpiece. American walnut stock with pistol hand grip, grip cap, splinter fore-end with the tip being inlaid and roller release and both with checkering. 14-5/8" LOP to a 7/8" orange Silver's style rubber recoil pad. 6 Lbs. 13 Oz.
