12-gauge sidelock game gun with 27" blacked round nitro proved chopper-lump barrels that are fitted with ejectors, a tapered smooth concave game rib, and a white bead front sight. The rib is roll-marked "LEECH & SON CHELMSFORD.". Proved for 2-3/4" cartridges and choked improved cylinder & modified. The coin finished action body is adorned with fine English Arabesque. Both lockplates are engraved "LEECH & SON" in a banner. The action is fitted with a Holland & Holland style assisted opening mechanism, hand detachable locks, cocking indicators, disc-set strikers, gas escapes, smooth blade double triggers protected by a lightly engraved blacked trigger guard extending to a long bottom strap, blacked top lever with the left side of the thumbpiece checkered and automatic safety with a gold-inlaid "S" ahead of the checkered and lightly engraved safety slide. Best quality walnut stock with straight hand grip, point pattern checkering with borders and similarly checkered splinter fore-end with Anson style push-button release and engraved escutcheon and center diamond. 14-5/8" LOP to a checkered butt, 6 Lbs. - 12 Oz.
