English made 12-gauge game shotgun with 25” nitro proved chopper lump steel barrels that are fit with ejectors, 3” chambers, Churchill quick-sighting tapered narrow raised solid matte flat-top rib and steel front and middle bead sights. Top of the rib near breech is gold-inlayed with "XXV" inside a diamond. Chokes are Extra Full and Extra Full. Top of the right barrel is roll marked "E. J. CHURCHILL. (GUNMAKERS.) LTD." while the top of the left barrel is roll marked "ORANGE STREET GUNWORKS. LEICESTER SQUARE. LONDON." Case color finished assisted-opening scalloped-back boxlock action is adorned fine English Arabesque scrolls, "E.J. CHURCHILL." on both sides of the action body. "HERCULES MODEL FINEST QUALITY" on bottom of the action body. There are gold-inlaid "4" upon the top lever, rib near breech and fore-end escutcheon. The action body is fit with a hidden third fastener (treble grip), double triggers protected by a blacked and engraved double rolled edge trigger guard which extends to a full length tang that is engraved with scrolls and the gun's serial number, top lever is blacked, engraved and the left side of the thumb piece is checkered, "SAFE" is in gold ahead of the non-automatic blacked engraved and checkered slide safety. Deluxe quality walnut stock with straight hand grip, fine point pattern checkering with borders, drop points and gold-inlaid "IR" over "MRR" on the toe line. Splinter fore-end with matching checkering and Anson type push button release with engraved escutcheon and center diamond. 14-5/8" LOP to a 3/4" leather covered Silvers style recoil pad with 3/8" Plastic Spacer, 8 Lbs. - 2 Oz.
