English made boxlock ejector 12-gauge game gun with 28" blacked round nitro proved barrels that are fit with ejectors, a tapered smooth concave game rib with extension and a steel bead front sight. Proved for 2-1/2" cartridges and choked Cylinder & Modified. The rib is roll marked: "T.WILD. 17 & 18. WHITTALL STREET. BIRMINGHAM." The barrels by the breaches have engraved barrel panels. The faded coin finished action body is adorned with rose bouquets and fine English Arabesque scrolls and 'T. WILD' on both sides of the action body near action flats. The scalloped-back boxlock action is fitted with a rib extension third fastener, an engraved top lever with the left side of the thumbpiece checkered and an automatic safety with gold-inlaid "SAFE" ahead of the checkered and lightly engraved safety slide. The double triggers are protected by an engraved trigger guard ending in a long and engraved bottom strap with serial number. Best quality walnut stock with straight hand grip, checkered stock panels, fine checkering, vacant stock oval and splinter fore-end with Anson type push button release with an engraved escutcheon and diamond. 14-1/2" LOP to a 3/4" Silver's style rubber recoil pad, 6 Lbs. - 9 Oz.
