20-gauge boxlock game gun with 28" blacked round nitro proved (London 1990) chopper-lump barrels that are fitted with extractors, a tapered smooth concave game rib and a brass bead front sight. The rib is roll-marked "J. CARR & SONS. GUN & RIFLE MAKERS. BIRMINGHAM". Proved for 2-1/2" cartridges and choked skeet & modified. The coin finished action body with blacked cover plate is engraved with English Arabesque scrolls. Both sides of the action body are engraved "J CARR & SONS". The action is fitted with double triggers, blacked and lightly engraved top lever with the left side of the thumbpiece checkered and automatic safety with "SAFE" ahead of the scored and lightly engraved safety slide. Best quality walnut stock with straight hand grip, point-pattern checkering and splinter fore-end with snap release and engraved escutcheon and center diamond. 14-5/16" LOP to a 7/8" leather covered recoil pad, 5 Lbs. - 6 Oz.
